Pretoria, 31 May 2018: Medskills, a medical aesthetic training academy for professionals, will be presenting a number of training events during the course of June 2018 culminating in a “Skincare from Cosmeceutical & Peel Perspective” course on 22 June presented by seven respected industry experts, including Medskills founder, Dr Chris Giezing. These events form part of Medskills on-going drive to set new standards for medical aesthetic training.
Medskills’ training events taking place during June 2018 will cover topics such as Thread Lifting, Basic Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler training, Skincare from a Cosmeutical & Peel Perceptive and Schlerotherapy training. During the training events, an experienced faculty of specialists will offer in-depth lectures with live demonstrations, expert advice and business development training.
“Our courses are designed to answer the immediate needs of medical aesthetic practitioners in an increasingly competitive market. We are offering extensive skincare skills development and procedure training with a focus on skincare and the business of aesthetic medicine as whole,” says Dr Giezing.
“The number of practitioners in the medical aesthetics industry in South Africa is growing and as experienced experts, it is our role to ensure that they are highly trained and certified in every aspect of cosmetic procedures and anti-aging skincare products and procedures,” Dr Giezing explains. “All of Medskills’ course content has been adapted to optimize hands-on technical education and to include the latest, cutting edge scientific and technological methodologies.”
On 22 June 2018 at The Workspace in Hazelwood, Pretoria, from 08:00 to 16:00, Medskills will host a full day of training on ‘Skincare from Cosmeceutical & Peel Perspective’. Attending professionals will have the opportunity to learn from well-known aesthetic medicine experts who will provide personalized, hands-on instruction on the latest and most advanced skincare, peel and filler techniques. Other sessions will cover a variety of new and innovative treatment categories, including barrier repair and hair growth, mesotherapy, micro-needling and the business of aesthetic medicine. Additionally, a unique product demonstration platform will allow attendees to gain knowledge and insight into products represented by the attending trainers.
