Oxigen Communications Tees Up a Successful Year with Client Retention

15 February 2023, Johannesburg: Oxigen Communications is pleased to announce the extension of numerous paid partnerships within its core, existing customer base. These contract renewals from some of Oxigen’s most longstanding relationships signal continued resilience for the agency and confidence in its agile approach.

An extended agreement for 2023 ushers in new era of Oxigen’s longest running client partnership with SPAR North Rand. For over a decade Oxigen has successfully boosted SPAR North Rand’s profile through sponsorship management and event publicity for SPAR hosted events in the region. The popular SPAR Women’s Challenge race returns in full living colour this year this after going virtual from 2020 to 2022.

The return of this widely popular event presents an exciting new direction for their 2023 marketing strategy says Oxigen Managing Director, LJ Swart.

“We are proud to look back and say that instead of being a devastating blow to one of Pretoria’s most beloved events, we helped SPAR North Rand transform the virtual race into a really successful event that found its own niche and following online. This year though, we are with the rest of the country in terms of wanting to move forward and get in person events back on the calendar. Working with SPAR North Rand on this event, and a long line up of others, is going to be a highlight for our team.”

After a successful 3-year contract period, that started just before the advent of the Covid-19 pandemic, Oxigen has also renewed its agreement with Masslift, a prominent player in the forklift industry specialising in Mitsubishi products.

“After being able to show measurable results off the back of a successful sales driven strategy, operating under very challenging conditions, we’ll now be working closely with Masslift to further develop their brand and marketing journey,” says Swart. Ringing in their ninth year with the agency, TLT-Turbo GmbH, a global manufacturer of industrial and mining ventilation equipment, have also extended their agreement.

This year, Swart explains that the focus will be on developing TLT-Turbo’s digital footprints. “For a while the focus was on establishing their global footprint after their extensive global restructure in 2018. Now we are going to be helping them develop digital channels to improve their customer journey,” Swart explains, adding that over the years the Oxigen team has become an extension of TLT-Turbo’s marketing team and that collaboration is setting them up for success.

“Working together toward innovation ensures that we keep up with the digital trends in the mining and manufacturing space and meet growing industry expectations.”

In the healthcare space, Oxigen has renewed contracts with non-profit healthcare group Right to Care, and its subsidiary, Right ePharmacy for the sixth consecutive year.

In terms of new clients, Oxigen signed on as a turnkey marketing strategy and agency for Soclima, a distributor for Toshiba Air Conditioning solutions in Angola.

“We’ll be developing a full content marketing campaign to boost brand awareness and excitement about the amazing products this company has to offer. Through the campaigns, we have planned this year, we are aiming to build strong, purposeful avenues of communication to Toshiba Air Conditioning’s main verticals, showcasing them as a thought leader and trustworthy resource within both residential and commercial sectors,” comments Swart.
